Who controls the information

ALIGEN LTD (company number 17154930), a private limited company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at International House, 22–28 Wood Street, Doncaster, United Kingdom, DN1 3LW, is responsible for deciding why and how information submitted through aligen.app is handled. Privacy-related requests can be sent to strategic@aligen.app.

Information we collect

• Contact details you submit, including your name, company, email address, inquiry type, and message.
• Basic technical and security information generated when you access the website, such as request logs and device or browser information.
• Any information you choose to provide when communicating with ALIGEN.

How we use information

• To review and respond to product, partnership, investment, and media inquiries.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
• To maintain appropriate business records and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Why we process it

We process inquiry information to take steps you request, to pursue legitimate business interests such as responding to relevant communications and protecting our systems, and where necessary to meet applicable legal obligations. Required form fields are identified in the form; without them we may be unable to review or respond to an inquiry.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand website visits and page views and improve the corporate website. It collects information such as pages visited, referring websites, browser and device type, and approximate location. It does not use tracking cookies. We do not send inquiry form contents to this analytics service.

Service providers

We may use service providers for website hosting, security, and email delivery. They process information only to provide those services to ALIGEN and under their applicable contractual and privacy terms.

ALIGEN product websites may publish separate privacy notices for the information handled by each product. This notice applies to the corporate website at aligen.app.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information submitted through the corporate inquiry form. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or systems, or in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, the ongoing business relationship, security, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it using methods appropriate to the system in which it is held.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Where processing occurs

Our hosting and email service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we use contractual and organizational measures intended to protect information when it is processed across borders.

Your choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to be informed, access or obtain a copy of your information, correct or complete it, request deletion, withdraw consent where consent is the basis, or object to certain processing.
